OLP: Its Death (and my hope of its resurrection)

I have been adamant that Ordinary Language Philosophy, or OLP, is one of the most relevant branch or school of philosophy in today's world. I came across people who said that bothering onesself with langauge is absurd and its study or scrutiny is left to the Pilosopong Tasyo's and those who proclaimed themselves academe philosophers with just a few units of philosophy. They say it is irrelevant, insignificant, and down right irritating. [ex. person A: amf. ang init ngayong summer. Me: Duh.] But I do believe otherwise.

I've been reading some books, commentaries, and websites to help me understand, first, why people see OLP as irrelevant, and second, what can I do, somehow, to revive OLP.
