Things that you took for granted. That you overlooked for almost your lifetime. Until the darkest hour of life came (Your darkest hour, so far. -Homer Simpson).

I've took my life for granted. Never thought it would be of importance, to me, or to anyone else. I've always told myself, "pag oras mo na oras mo na. Wag ka na pumalag pa." But flashes of Samurai X's episode when Himura was asking his sensei why he can't master the Hitren Mitsurugi, his master calmly replied, "because you are always ready to throw your life away. you must learn to preserve it so you can protect others that you love." Maybe that's what I have to learn. I'm living not for myself, I'm living for others. I'm but a link in the world's human chain, I have to do my part to keep the world, the people I love, and myself complete.
