The Wizard called Og

I am on the verge of quitting. Jumping out of the caravan and finding my way out of this corporate jungle. I was contemplating this on my way to work. I was waaay stressed out than before because of this shit called work, rich people who are idots, and pressure of doing something worthwhile in my life. I wanted to walk away from this reality and jump into my own yellow brick road of happiness towards the Emerald City.

But then he came again. As I was on the edge of shouting out of frustration, I saw his wisdom again, written on a post-it on a work station.

Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough. (Og Mandino)

He came at an exact time, as always. This time to give me a mind to think and a heart to will myself to succeed. He gave me hope.

Like the wizard that he is, he magically brought me back to my feet.

Yet, in the back of my mind I knew, that damn bastard tricked me again. He is, after all, The World's Greatest Salesman.

I've only read a book of his, and memorized a poem of his way back in high school. But somehow, once in a blue moon, in every moment I needed help, I come stumbling into his quotations.
