Albert Camus once wrote, "Blessed are the hearts that can bend. They shall never be broken." But I wonder.... If there's no breaking, then there's no healing. And if there's no healing, then there is no learning. And if there's no learning, then there's no struggle. But the struggle is a part of life, So must all hearts be broken ? - Lucas Scott, One Tree Hill Season 5, Ep 11

camus is once again in his ironic self in that quote. weird because being an individual means that you are supposed to be part of a community and ultimately a part of the Other. this connection entails relationship and ultimately love. if this is true, then, hearts are to be broken. the more shattered a heart is, the more love it endured... hehehe... laging masokista dapat!
no pain, no gain, huh?
siguro... pero pedeng sabihin yun talaga ang nangyayari. i think that is the essence of augustine's "My heart is restless until it rests in you."
or the one step back, two steps forward - saying.
or the active non action of the "Dao"
in any case, i think we should bask under the light of love. as a matter of fact, we are not just illuminated by it; nishida said, it is the ground that we are standing on. so, what can we do but be indulgent?
isa ba itong kaso ng hypothetical syllogism in negative form???
masakit ito sa bangs. tsktsk.
hmmm...
deende na sa pagtingin mo :)
what's your take sa issue?
hmmm....
speaking of the Wei Wu Wei... I remember marella's text message sa akin "pede kayang mag making a paper without making a paper"
hahaha.
hahaha... tama ang tanong na yon, sa palagay ko lang.... sabi nga ni heidegger, the questioning allows the truth to be unveiled (aletheia). kaya ang mga tanong ang (enframing) ge-stell na nagiging manifold ng mga standing-reserve (bestand). tungkol sa papel, maaaring di pagsulat ang pagsusulat kapag gusto mo ang isinusulat mo. yun!
going back....
should all hearts be broken?
